KINETIC DANCE STUDIO is a dance studio and creative community located in the heart of Auckland CBD, in a prime location on Lorne Street surrounded by the best eateries and entertainment spots. We started with a pretty simple idea - to create a place where people could dance, have fun, meet people and feel like they belonged.

Since then, Kinetic has grown into much more. We run weekly classes alongside projects, performances, showcases and other opportunities for our dancers to train, create and get involved.

There’s no one type of person who dances at Kinetic. Some people walk through our doors for their first ever class, some have danced their whole lives, and plenty are somewhere in between. We have kids, adults, beginners, experienced dancers and people who just want to dance after work and have a good time.

What matters most to us is the community that’s grown around the studio. Kinetic has been shaped by the teachers, dancers and creatives who spend their time here, and we want it to remain somewhere people feel welcome, supported and excited to be part of.

We’ve grown a lot since we first opened, and we’re still figuring out where Kinetic goes next. Come join us and help us shape who we become!
